WOR312A Worship in Historical Perspective

This course is a survey of the development of Christian worship from the beginning of the church to the present day, including a careful examination of the origin, content, and structure of hymns. Attention will be given to recovering traditions that may be useful for enhancing corporate worship in today’s culture.
