A study of advanced concepts, theories, skills, and procedures of effective counseling, several types of counseling situations, and the assessment of appropriate counseling styles and techniques.  Case studies will be reviewed, evaluated, and presented as a major portion of the course work.  Issues and concerns unique to the students' counseling experience and anticipated ministry/career will be discussed.  This course is designed to be taken concurrently with Lab Experiences in Counseling.
